Students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Lucknow, organize ‘Kishore Kavi Sangam’, audience lauds young poets
MLA Dr Neeraj Bora says – These young personalities are the future of literature
Lucknow: They may be young in age, but their capacity, talent and thoughts are very high. With a feeling in mind that something positive has to be done which will be an example, students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Lucknow, took an initiative. These young boys and girls made the effort to string in the pearls of thoughts that came in their minds in the form of poems. Their effort and presentations were so much lauded that all those who heard them just said that these young minds are the future of Hindi Literature. These young school going boys and girls were participating in a function ‘Kishore Kavi Sangam’ where they presented their nuggets of poetry.

Function inaugurated with guru puja and lighting of the lamp
Students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Lucknow, had organized aduit kavya sandhya on Thursday. The school is located on Sitapur Road. The students presented various poems during the program. The chief guest on the occasion was MLA from Lucknow North Dr Neeraj Bora. The function was inaugurated by Dr Neeraj Bora and his wife Bindu Bora, chairman Ajay Prakash Srivastava and the school’s manager Anup Shrivastava by offering guru puja and lighting the traditional lamp.

The function got off to an impressive start with Student of Class XI Anupam Anand presenting a ‘chand’ and ‘muktak’. The audience lauded Class XII student Aas Singh’s presentation ‘Is tarah se bharosa dilana pada, Janaki ko dhara mein samana para’. During the function, students Kunal Kanaujiya, Kirti Singh, Astha Dixit, Ujjawal Yadav, Atul Thakur, Prisha Yadav, Anany Shukla, Nikita Maurya, Nilakshi Mishra, Anjali Tripathi, Lavya Mishra, Atulya Srivastava, Avni Singh, Akansha Pal, Anjika Jaiswal, Kritika Giri, Prashat Shukla among others presented their poems which they had written themselves. The program was conducted by well-known poet Sanjay Sanwara and Krishnapal Singh Dinkar.

Faizullahganj Pratham ward to be now known as Maharishi Nagar ward
On the occasion, chief guest Dr Bora said these young personalities were the future of literature. School’s manager Anup Shrivastava while welcoming and thanking the chief guest informed that Sitapur Road located Faizullahganj Pratham Ward where Maharishi Vidya Mandir is located, has been renamed as Maharishi Nagar ward. The announcement was welcomed by all those who were present.

Chairman Ajay Prakash Srivastava said on the occasion that these young students were extremely talented. He expressed gratitude to Dr Bora over renaming of the ward as Maharishi Nagar ward. School principal Neelam Singh presented mementos to student poets.

School teachers, staff and parents were present on this occasion.
Along with well-known satirist Sarvesh Asthana, Subhash Kapoor, Maharishi Vidya Mandir’s other staff members were also present.
