Actor Saif Ali Khan is proudly tom-tomming son Ibrahim’s achievement. For the proud and happy father, to see his eldest born son foray into Bollywood is definitely something that he doesn’t get tired talking about.
What is Ibrahim’s achievement?
20-year-old Ibrahim will be working with KJo as an assistant director. In fact, while confirming this, a delighted Saif told YouTuber Siddharth Kanan in an interview that this is indeed something that everyone in the family was looking forward to.
Detailing Ibrahim’s achievement, Saif said Ibrahim would be working with director Karan Johar. Ibrahim will be working as assistant director on the sets of Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’. The film features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead.
Smilingly, Saif added that Ibrahim’s achievement is not in the conventional sense, that is starring in a film’s lead role. But ‘now, seems like the young man is on his way to understanding the dynamics of a movie before his big break in Bollywood’, added Saif. The father of four said Ibrahim’s achievement lay in the fact that he was starting out to first learning the ropes of film making. This knowledge acquired will help be a better professional when he comes in front of the camera, Saif added.
Talking about his children, he said his eldest kid, Sara Ali Khan, was already working in the industry and is one of the leading female faces of the movies. Rumors regarding Ibrahim’s Bollywood entry were always rife on the grapevine. He said, “They are all different. Ibrahim is assisting on a Karan Johar movie and sharing that and talking about what his ideas and dreams are. Sara is older and we have a very different equation.”
Saif & his kids
Saif also talked about his equation with his four kids in the same interview. He joked that he has got one kid from each decade in his life – 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s.
Praising his little one, Jehangir, Saif said, “Taimur is looking up to you for guidance and all that. Jeh is just smiling and drooling. You know, he is much more my mental age than any of them, is the newborn of course.”
On the work front, Saif is awaiting the release of his upcoming biggie – Adipurush, which features him in the role of Lankesh (Ravana from Ramayan) while Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh play the role of Lord Ram, Sita, and Laxman, respectively. The film is slated to hit the screens next year on August 11.
