Why does a stranger want to kill Salman Khan?

MUMBAI. An anonymous letter issuing dire threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father writer Salim Khan was found near the Bandra Bandstand promenade on Sunday. Bandra Police have registered an offence against unknown persons.Police said the letter was found by Salim Khan’s security staff on a bench.

Salman Khan ‘s father got a threat letter

“Salim Khan follows a morning routine where he goes for a walk on the promenade accompanied by his security personnel. There’s a location where he typically takes a break. A chit had been left behind on a bench,” a police officer said.

Chit contained dire threats for both Salman and Salim Khan

Salim Khan’s security staffer found the chit and handed it to him. According to the police, the chit contained dire threats for both Salman and Salim Khan. “Moose wala jaisa kar dunga”: the chit said. The Bandra police was informed and an offence was registered. Police are checking CCTV footage in the Bandstand area and making enquiries among locals to find out who left the chit behind.

Sidhu Moosewala was gunned down on 29th May

Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was gunned down by unidentified people on May 29. The attack took place a day after the 28-year-old singer’s security was trimmed by the state government.
