Maharishi University of Information Technology celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. Hon’ble Chancellor, Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The function started with the traditional lamp lighting and Puja ceremony to pay our reverence and take the blessings of Maa Saraswati, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and Shri Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

Art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery
Vice Chancellor (MUIT). Prof. B. P. Singh delivered a welcome address in which he remembered his teacher who influenced him as a student and played a great role in shaping his life bringing out the importance of the teachers in the life of a person. He also said that the art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery. It was followed by insightful and motivational speech by Hon’ble Registrar (MUIT), Prof. A. P. Singh and words of blessings from Hon’ble BOG member (MUIT), Shri Anoop Srivastava.
Chancellor’s Gold, Silver and Bronze medal
The occasion was marked by the much awaited felicitation event of the selected teachers who were awarded with Chancellor’s Gold, Silver and Bronze medal which carried a certificate and token amount of appreciation along with medals. The Gold medal was awarded to Mr. Ajay Kumar, Silver medal to Dr. Mudita Agarwal and Bronze medal to Mr. Anil Kumar from Noida campus. whereas The Gold medal was awarded to Dr. Shweta Dwivedi and Dr. Sandhya Sinha; Silver medal to Dr. Ashutosh Pathak and Mr. Ankit Srivastava, and Bronze medal to Mr. Avanish Kumar from Lucknow Campus.

MUIT (Maharishi Times) and MIIF (Navriti) Newsletters were launched
On this occasion two Newsletters- MUIT (Maharishi Times) and MIIF (Navriti) Newsletters were also launched by the dignitaries present at both the campuses. The students of both campuses presented their programs expressing their respect and admiration for their teachers.

Teachers were given away gifts
Lastly, Hon’ble DG (MUIT), Prof. (Group Capt.) O. P. Sharma, addressed the audience and appreciated for everyone’s participation and efforts. He further, spoke about the significance of Teachers Day and recognized their contribution to the society. On this occasion, all the teachers were given away gifts and were invited for a lunch at the campus. The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Sapan Asthana. The program was conducted by Ms. Alka Srivastava. The overall program was organized under the mentorship of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (MUIT).
